Christmas Home Tour
Ornament wreaths are my absolute favorite Christmas Decoration! I’ve made dozens of them. I enjoy giving wreaths as gifts to special people in our lives. It’s the first decoration I take out each year and the last one I put away.

We have a couple of Christmas trees in various rooms throughout our house. I keep the “fancy” tree (with most of our fragile bulbs) in our formal living room.
This traditional pre-lit tree is about nine feet tall and includes hundreds of white lights. It is also where Santa leaves the gifts. I love walking by and seeing this tree all lit up, especially in the evening! It’s beautiful!
A favorite up-cycle of mine is my Christmas Wreath made from burnt out Christmas lights. Don’t throw lights away when they don’t work anymore! Make a Wreath from Burnt Out Lights.
This year I have a new up-cycle, which has become a favorite! Last year these colorful trees stood on the buffet by themselves but this year I’ve added this…
Chevron Christmas tree pallet. (Detailed tutorial here.) I love the juxtaposition of the pallet wood with the colorful ornaments.

Because I am trying to create lasting traditions for my kids even though I don’t want them to touch their Christmas trees after I redecorate them this coocoo momma even has a giant plastic nativity in the back yard. It’s the same nativity my parents used when I was a kid. I can’t imagine why they gave it to me?
