How to make a Magnolia Wreath
Last time we were playing in our neighbors driveway we found lots of magnolia buds.
I loved the look and shape and decided to make a wreath out of them.
*Not to mention I love free stuff and these were buds were destined for the trash.
Magnolia Bud Wreath Supply List:
- Magnolia Buds
- Metallic spray paint (optional)
- Straw Wreath
- Spanish Moss
- Tiny white flowers
- Hot glue and a hot glue gun
I started my wreath by using metallic spray paints I already had to cover some of my magnolia buds.
I followed my ornament wreath tutorial to attached the buds to the wreath.
I attached the buds all along the outside of the Straw Wreath and then on the top.
*Don’t remove the plastic from your wreath, unless you want straw everywhere.
Then we ding-dong-ditched my neighbors and left it by their front door.
The wreath was SO heavy my neighbor added the burlap ribbon, which I think is a beautiful touch!
